The 2026 World Health Expo (WHX) – a flagship annual event for the Middle East’s healthcare sector – has officially been set to run from February 9 to 12 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC). Preparations are now underway, and interest from global medical enterprises and professionals continues to surge.

As one of the largest and most influential healthcare industry expos in the Middle East, WHX is centered on the theme of “Connecting Global Health Innovation.” It covers multiple segments including medical devices, smart healthcare, health management, and biopharmaceuticals. More than just a platform to showcase cutting-edge technologies and products, it serves as a key hub for international industrial cooperation and trade matchmaking. This year’s expo is expected to attract over 1,200 medical companies from around the world, alongside tens of thousands of professional attendees such as hospital procurement heads, industry distributors, and investment institution representatives.

Dubai, a commercial crossroads linking Europe, Asia, and Africa, has seen rapid growth in its healthcare market in recent years, with rising demand for high-quality medical equipment and innovative health solutions. Industry insiders note that WHX’s launch in Dubai aligns with the region’s push for healthcare industry upgrading, while also providing a critical gateway for global enterprises to tap into the Middle East and neighboring markets. Exhibitors will not only be able to connect directly with local procurement needs but also leverage Dubai’s geographic advantages to reach emerging markets in Africa and South Asia.
